A tribute to two-time Grammy Award Winner and “Queen of Jazz”, Diane Schuur.

Award-winning vocalist Mary Griffin along with Host of Great Day Houston, Deborah Duncan will pay homage to Diane Schuur, “Deedles”, by singing her songs in tribute to the legendary singer. Diane Schuur will close the show with several of her hits including “Deedles Blues”, “The Very Thought of You”, “My Funny Valentine” and her icnonic acapella rendition of “Over the Rainbow!”

All profits from this event will go towards the reconstrctive surgery and care of Orlando Griffin, who was tragically injured in an exhibition fight he participated in for the purpose of rasing money for children with cancer. Orlando is the son of Mary Griffin.
