Help the Doctor

Help the Doctor is an indie rock band based in Los Angeles, CA.  Forming in 2012, they have toured across the North America and have sold out prominent venues such as the House of Blues, the Troubadour, the Roxy, and the Viper Room.  The sound is a maelstrom of rock guitar, sunny melody, and reflections on west coast life. Fans of Weezer and the Killers will have much to love.  As day jobs, all members are practicing surgeons and all of their proceeds go to benefit reconstructive surgery for children.  They’ve been featured all over the media including a VICE special (“I’m Also A Doctor”) and the Houston Chronicle, as well as a turn for frontman Phuong Nguyen (aka P.Danger) to sing with Demi Lovato for President Biden’s inauguration.  This special Houston show will benefit children born with cleft and craniofacial differences in their surgical care at the Texas Cleft-Craniofacial team at UTHealth Houston and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.   Their latest album, “Angeles” is available on all streaming platforms (itunes, spotify).
