Daley is a British singer and songwriter, know for his unique brand of alternative-soul and stand-out voice. His career kicked into gear after a collaboration with the Gorillaz on the song ‘Doncamatic’ – the same year he was nominated with the likes of James Blake and Jamie Woon in the UK’s prestigious ‘Sound of’ poll.
His first official single ‘Alone Together’ (featuring Marsha Ambrosius) became a runaway Top 5 R&B radio hit, prompting nods from the Grammys, Soul Train and MOBO awards, breaking Daley to an international audience. Top 20 UK singles ‘Remember Me’ feat. Jessie J and dynamic ballad ‘Broken’ followed.
Daley’s debut LP ‘Days & Nights’ arrived 2014 to critical acclaim. Varied yet unified, it featured collabs with Pharrell, Illangelo and Andre Harris, and spawned Top 10 single ‘Look Up’. An appearance on Fallon’s Tonight Show and 2 sold-out world tours accompanied the album’s release.
A renewed perspective on love, life and purpose are apparent on Daley’s second album, ‘The Spectrum’. A soul-baring set, embracing R&B while continuing to push sonic boundaries, his songwriting and vocal abilities. Jill Scott co-signs lead single ‘Until the Pain Is Gone’ – a song that sees Daley back Top 5 at R&B radio, and beginning his next musical chapter.
